Does ZOMAX make a gutter kit for the backpack blowers?
ZOMAX does not offer a gutter kit for our backpack blowers, only for our handheld blowers.
What’s the preparation before I use ZOMAX Blower?
1.Inspect the working area.
2.Remove all loose objects, such as stones, broken glass, nails, steel wire, string,etc. that could be thrown out.Always remove the battery to prevent the machine being started by accident. Always remove the battery before any maintenance on the machine.
3.Before using the machine and after any impact,check for signs of wear or damage and repair as necessary.Only use original spare parts.
4.The machine operator must ensure that no people or animals come closer than 15 metres while working.When several operators are working in the same area the safety distance should be at least 15 metres.
5.Carry out an overall inspection of the machine before use. See the maintenance schedule.
How often should I have my ZOMAX blower tuned up?
Please refer to the Maintenance Schedule which can be found in the instruction manual.
What is the minimum compression for my ZOMAX blower?
Generally the minimum is 8.2 lbs. of compression. However, this will vary by model. Compression readings alone are not enough to determine the condition of the engine. Compression gauges are not always accurate and different engines will provide different results.
